Dear authors,
We just wanted to take this opportunity to remind you of the two pathways to landing an agent with Cornerstones! One is with the Scouting Programme (headed up by Helen and Monica), and the other is via our Edit Your Novel course. The next Course starts on Monday October 14th, and we have a few places left if you’d like to sign up!
Have a look at two alumni pathways to publishing here…
Laura Marshall, who won the EYN prize via the Bath Novel Award, went on to write FRIEND REQUEST, which became a bestseller. Five years on, she’s a Cornerstones Market editor and available for work.
More congratulations to our EYN alumn Linda Temienor-Vincent, who signed with The Good Literary Agency last week!
Cornerstones editors have abundant wisdom, exposing me to techniques that revealed my blind spots and aided me in purging and polishing my manuscript, making it ready to go out into the world. And the result? A literary agency recently signed me up.
Lastly, have you been watching Joan on ITV? Helen worked with Joan on her memoir, and passed her through to an agent. The manuscript, I AM WHAT I AM, was published by Headline, and it has just hit the screen as Joan starring Sophie Turner. We’re so excited; congratulations to Joan! It’s a great reminder to never give up on your story or dreams.
Very best,
The Cornerstones Team
